(Goal: Morning exercise)

Wow, 14/16. That's great!

I got 5/7 on the second week, which is an improvement on week 1.

I went for a run this morning. I tried for a longer route today; almost 20 mins. When the sun came up I noticed all the frost. Probably a bit too cold for t-shirt and shorts. I checked the temperature when I got back and it was only 4 degrees (Celsius). Brrrr!

Score: 9/15

Goal: 8 hours sleep.
Result: 7.25 hours.
Bonus: Meditated 10 minutes

Tough weekend on the sleep front. Only 6.25 hours each on Sat and Sun nights (although I got a great night's sleep on Fri night). Got very busy with something where I needed to get up at 5 on Sun to complete it, then had a social evening on Sun that went later than I thought it would. Since I've committed myself to getting more sleep, I really feel it when I don't and don't expect myself to get along well with less. It's not a luxury, it's a basic necessity! Life is better with sleep.

#1 is complete.

There were showers in the early morning so the grass is damp. That will help when I spray for #2. We are expecting some amount of showers over the next several days.

#2 is complete. I forgot to check my watch. My errand to the grocery store will ensure a total get-out time of 45 minutes though.

Have been away on holiday, hence no updates. My goal is to give up drinking Coca-Cola.

Good news though, I'm 16/17! Very proud of myself! I had a day early on where I cracked, and quite apallingly too - had a can during the day and then ended up buying a bottle on the way home as well, typical "well, I've broken it now" mentallity, but since then not a drop has passed my lips.

Well done to everyone who's keeping up with the challenge! Now off to get updated on the rest of the boards...

Goal: Lose 1#/wk through max of 1600 calories/day.
Result: 1902 total (2582 food - 680 exercise). At least it's under 2000. Could be worse. Got real hungry tonight. Didn't eat a proper dinner with veggies, then needed to eat some more.

Yeah, where is everyone? We're still on page 1 for today.

Goal: No forums or RSS reading from work computer.

Today got pretty mind numbing, and I was soooo tempted to just peek, but I didn't.

But, I learned about a new blog on the way home that I hafta check out, so that
should up the ante a bit. I've realized that when I read the RSS feeds (mostly
productivity/GTD blogs like Leo's) at work, they are all OH SO FASCINATING.
But when I read them from home, I can skim through the headlines and skip
actually reading most of them.

How does one crack that "Everything seems more interesting than what I'm doing
right now" nut? Mebbe I'll go post that in the productivity forum.
