Preventing Spam in this Forum

Hi everyone,

This forum was hit by a bunch of spambots recently, so I've taken a few actions to prevent further spambots from registering.

One important change is that guests will no longer be able to view the memberlists or the user profiles (registered users will still be able to see these pages) ... which will prevent the search engines, such as Google, from going to these pages and following spam links ... I hope this will remove the incentive for many spammers to target this forum.

In addition, I've deleted a bunch of members who were spammers by hand ... and I think I got just about all of them ... but if I accidentally deleted your account, please let me know ASAP as I would like to prevent it from happening again.
