Goal: sleep 8.
Result: slept 7.25, but with intermittent insomnia. Didn't feel well-rested when clock went off. May be coming down with something. Maybe it'll pass.
Also: meditated, wrote morning pages, read my morning book.

#1 is complete.

It is another beautiful day for #2. I also notice that I have developed a rhythm where I also forward other projects along with keeping the July Challenge going. This morning, it got me out of bed wanting to get into my day and accomplish more. That's a welcome gain.

Well, I've totally fallen off the wagon due to some work deadlines and a personal emergency. I haven't been posting here for at least a week. But I'm back now and I'd like to get back on track if only to establish the habit for next month, when I will try again.
My goal was to get to sleep by 1 a.m. and rise by 9 a.m....I haven't been to bed on time in a week but I've been up early...because I just can't seem to sleep that late. This has led me to a big decision, which is to let this night client go. It's simply too disruptive to my life and it's getting in the way of all my other goals. I'm giving notice on Monday.
The good news is I have kept up my daily exercise habit, which I established in the June challenge. This is a real surprise to me as my life has been pretty crazy and ordinarily it would have been the first thing to go in the crunch. I think it says a lot about the power of this approach of Leo's and it's really encouraged me to just keep going and try again next month.
I hope you're all faring better than I am this month! Good luck in the home stretch.

Goal 1 - to do morning routine
Goal 2 - 10 minutes decluttering
Goal 3 - 10 minutes housework

I've done my morning routine so that's 14 for 16
I did this today so that's 10 for 16
I've done 10 minutes housework today so that's 13 for 16

Today's been a good day. I've finished sorting through my filing system and my file now closes. Yipee!!! That was a really good feeling.

I am finding the check in threads really useful as it motivates me to get these jobs done. Thank you for the forum Leo.

#2 is complete. I changed the task to mowing those parts of the yard that I will be getting to last, just so they don't look too scruffy in the meantime. I also watered the back yard while doing that. I will come back to completing the South side of the house on Saturday, 07-28.

I am {24 for 27 in July}

I've been horrible about posting my progress lately. But I haven't missed stretching and walking since I last checked in. :)

Goal: No forums or RSS reading from work computer.

Today, for the first time, I didn't feel that it was somehow unfair that I couldn't read my feeds.
I thought "wow, that looks nice, but I'll have them for later."

goal: exercise at least 30 minutes every day

Today I went to swim practice. I didn't sleep well last night, so I was tired and went a bit easy, but I still did 2100 meters.
