Found this today, and found it to be a great combination of exercises. The video is helpful to understand the workout as well.

Wow.
That's an intense workout right there.
I'll have to give it a shot when I get back to school.

Well, those guys in "300" were definitely cut and fit. I watched that and said to my wife, "I bet they had a 6-month training program for everyone on the set before shooting started."
I might incorporate some of this into my workouts!

Be careful, from the gym that got those guys in shape:
"The second misconception surrounds the idea of the Spartan workout, aka '300', how frequently it was done or who actually finished it. '300' is a one-time test, an invitation-only challenge undertaken by those deemed ready for it."

It's a very challenging and fun workout....but make sure you scale it to your ability. Like anything....start at the level you can safely do exercises and recover from, as there are serious health issues that can happen from pushing yourself too far too soon.

Well, here goes my first post. I found that the "300 Workout" wasn't particularly ideal to me per se, but the theory that it is based upon (a high-intensity style of training with little rest) works wonders on fat loss and maintaining/possibly gaining lean mass. I had to tailor it here and there because adaptation kicks in after a while and there's no more strength progression. I'll tell you what, if you want to get ripped to the bone or at least fend off excess junk food consumption, this is the type of workout to employ.

The workout is extremely hard. So hard that I would never do it. I prefer to not injure myself, so I tend to workout easier than harder. It works for me.
My friend does the 300 workout once or twice a week with some people at his gym, and he is totally and 100% tired afterwards. It really does push you to your limits.
