#1 Fitness: Row 300 strokes, then push 3m, alt.push 3m, and 8 leg lifts.

#2 Get out: We are going to see the "Old Crow Medicine Show" at the zoo's outdoor stage. That will be my being out and also with people.

#3 Organization: Reduce backlog of 45 feed articles to 25 marked unread and for follow-up. I have a long list of further activities when I maintain this one at 0 every day.

Up at six. Yoga for 25 minutes. I've been checking email before the yoga. I'd like to stop that.

1. wake up at 6AM: today is national holyday, so I decided not to go for early wake up
2. meditate for 20mins: somehow got around this
3. respect study time table (I'll prepared one today): yesterday I should've prepared the study schedule, but I didn't in the end
4. MIT-habit: I'll do that now!

Goal 1 - Morning routine
Goal 2 - 20 minutes housework
Goal 3 - Evening routine

Morning routine completed so that's 13 for 15

Goal 2 coming into today at 12 for 14 I know this will be a struggle today as I have to be out the house for a meeting this evening at 7.30 so will have to leave at 6.30. Probably won't be back until 10 o'clock

Goal 3 coming into today at 11 for 14

Yay, I'm back on track!

Made it for 4 hours lab work today, so I'm 8 for 11 (weekdays) in August. Feel very pleased with myself, if somewhat exhausted.

Also, so far I've had no coca-cola today, but it's 5pm so there is still an opportunity to slip up - promise I'll come back tomorrow and report if I caved in to the lure, but I'm hoping not - the joy of my 15/15 for August is fabulous - I want to make this one a 31/31 at the end of the month!

Right, I'm going home! Got to dash between the rain showers as I'm cycling....

Forgot to check in this morning. Woke up at 5:00 all the same. I'm still on a perfect score 15/15.

Hoovered the house and as I'm going to a meeting I am going to treat goal 2 as completed because even if I didn't do the full 20 minutes I still did some of it. So that's 13 for 15

Will update on evening routine later.

8 for 9

Today's Comment
Was in the shower 15 minutes late this morning due to alarm malfunction (for real!), so today is my first day not reaching meeting the challenge. I still feel great about awaking without the alarm, noting that I was late, and getting a move on, instead of throwing in the towel for the day.

Start Date: 08/07/2007
In shower every morning at 9am

#1 is complete. My back muscles seem to be strenghtening well and I didn't start with much lower-back aching this morning.

I did my workout in silence again tonight. I was in front of the computer screen which has a nice peaceful desktop. The screensaver kicked in and did an awesome display of color. It was great doing the workout and gazing at the display.

My goal is to get in bed by 10 and to exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, including some strength and flexibility training. Argh! blew the bedtime again last night. But I did do an hour long walk today so I'm still on track with exercise.

Congrats on your progress everyone!

9 days smoke-free, only spent about 10 min today wishing I had a cigarette around, but then the husband called on his way home and managed to distract me enough that I didn't think about smoking again the rest of the night. Of course, I'm thinking about it now, but not desiring it. My mind is getting closer to being craving-free.

#2 is complete. It was a beautiful evening under a clear sky in a park-like setting. To be closer to the stage, we would to have been there two hours before they opened the gates, no just one.

#3 is complete. Starting with a backlog of 45, refresh raised the total to 212, initial screening dropped it to 67, and #3 brought it to 21. Oh boy, home stretch.

I am now at {15 of 15 for August}

Really annoyed with myself. I didn't check my list for the evening routine when I got in last night and ran through it in my head because it was late and I was tired and I missed cleaning the flask so it was ready this morning. So I failed at my evening routine just because I didn't check myself Grrr!!!! So that's 11 for 15
