Checking in for today.

Was very tired yesterday because I had two very demanding days at work. Was in bed by 22:00 and slept very good. Woke at 5:00, so I'm 16 for 16 now.

Good luck everybody in keeping it up in the second half of August. I guess this part of the challenge is where it becomes a habit.

I think I missed this yesterday. Too busy buzzing about, shopping, getting a haircut etc. I bought a load of notebooks in tbe Back to School special offers. I never stop needing notebooks.

Did my exercise, did my writing and editing work. Got up just about on time yesterday and today. But still having problems getting to bed at the time I'm aiming for. :(

I know what I have to do... I know how I have to do things, but just not doing them.
Just surfing too much news and the likes.

So my goal is: Think about what you should and really want to do in every moment, and just do it... It is as simple.
Achevieng those things will make you happy

WatchList: Work at 8.
Today: Arrived at 8:13, 5 minutes after yesterday! The day before yesterday was also 8:13. Hmmm...8:13, 8:08, 8:13...At any rate, this is way better than 9:30! Getting to those last minutes to 8 are to settle a personal feud with the clock but also setting that boundary of 8 is a setting a timebox against backsliding, which is so easy to do.

Feelin' good today. Awoke two hours earlier than 8:30 alarm, but didn't allow myself to shower until 9. Ended up having a great morning with lots of decluttering prior to shower!

Start Date: 08/07/2007
In shower every morning at 9am

#1 is complete. I really had to favor myself and I think I need some other way to stretch out my back where I have been bruised or had some muscle injuries. I will check around.

It wants to rain today so I will do shopping errands instead. I am excited to see that backlog go to zero and I can start new organization tasks.

10 days smoke-free. Of course, the day isn't over, but the worst part has passed. I spent the past 30 minutes wanting to smoke, but getting on here and seeing everyone's progress really reminds me that I can do this, and that all it takes is deciding to do it. Yes, a cigarette would be great for the 10 minutes I'm actually smoking it, but then I would have to start all over again. I've been through the hardest part (the first few days), and now I just need to maintain this so that I never have to quit smoking again. My downfall every time I've quit in the past has been that I think one cigarette won't hurt. But every time that one cigarette leads to many more. I need to never smoke another cigarette in my life.

Good on ya Kara!! You can do it!
Keep it up, living smoke-free is a very healthy and wise habit to obtain. I know it's not easy, I also quit three times. The last time is 12 years ago :)

Disastorous evening. Started reading my book to get my 15 minutes reading done but I didn't stop so didn't achieve goal 2 or goal 3. Maybe I should use the reading as a reward when I've done my jobs.
