Checking in for today as well.
Goal: Wake up at 5:00
Didn't make it today. The alarm went off at 5:00 but every muscle in my body screamed: "Need more sleep". So I listened to my body. I had a long and strenuous day yesterday as I'm redoing the garden. I wheeled out about 2 cubic meter of soil. It resulted in me sleeping in until 7:15.
How about a paradigm shift: sleeping in until 7:15 :D That would've been tremendously early 2 months ago.
Anyway, I'm 24 of 26 now. I worked in the garden today as well, but I plan to get out of bed on time tomorrow.

#1 is complete. I notice that I prefer rowing to yoga, probably because I seem to have gotten better at the rowing. In the yoga, my flexibility is still less than it has been in the past, and the areas of inflexibility are bothersome and recurring. At the same time, I was observing, today, how much more I am getting into the poses and how much I get out of it, if I just be present and aware.

Success today. I got to bed on time last night and this morning I walked for an hour by the river, which was pretty nice, despite icky hot weather.
We're in the home stretch...good luck to all this week.

For this final week of August,
my specific challenge is to:
- work at least 1 hour per day clearing out the storage room (2nd bedroom): donate, toss, and sell items.
- work at least 1 hour per day catching up paper filing & bills, get related action items up to date.
- pare down wardrobe (donate, toss, and organize clothes).
---
Today, the 1st day of my 6-day August challenge to get started, here's my tally against the above goals:
- 2 3/4 hours working hard on the storage room; donated and tossed probably 300# of stuff - good progress.
- 1/2 hour on paperwork - a bit light here.
- started the wardrobe work (15 min).
Kind of ran out of gas and didn't get as much done today on it as planned. But still got my daily run in at 6pm,
and it was a good start on progress anyway. Using this forum for accountability did help create some
anti-procrastination pressure. I'll need a "monster day" or two this week to really knock these things
out by Friday night (Aug 31).
Tallyho' till tomorrow!
