The last day!
Well of the challenge, now I need to keep this a habit.

Goal: Wake at 5:00
Done. It's getting pretty easy and it already feels more like a habit than a challenge.

I'm up for the September challenge. I plan to do running as a challenge, but since yesterday my right foot hurts, so I may have to postpone that challenge :( But there are other things to start with.

I am starting August 31 at {26 of 30}.

Promise:

#1 Fitness: Row 300 strokes, push for 3 minutes, alt. pushes for 3 minutes, 8 leg lifts.

#2 Get out: Today, that is indoors removing the living-room window coverings so I can put up the new vertical blinds on September 1.

#3 Organize: 60 minutes. Get my feeds backlog back to 0, bring accounts current, and get back to reducing the stack of papers on the corner of my desk.

A good day for me here on the last day of the challenge. Got to bed on time and actually managed to sleep through the night. Also did my jogging. So despite considerable travails, at least I'm ending the month on a good note and looking forward to a better month in September.
Congratulations to all on your successes....and good luck going forward.

#1, #2, and #3 are complete
. I had more-than-usual back pane starting out on #1, but I warmed up slow and worked it out. There seems to be no question this is muscle and maybe joint related. The windows are bare and that is the hardest part. Putting up the new vertical blinds will be easy after our practice with the dining-room window. I still have a backlog of almost 40, but all other organization tasks were done. I am going to bring the backlog to 0 now.

I am ending at {27 of 31 for August, 2007}. I am going to continue with the same accomplishments in September.

Did my workout. This month of forming the habit seems to have gone very well. I'll keep this up. I'm very happy about having only 1 migraine this month and lowering the medication. I'm sure I am getting something out of doing this. :D

today wasn't a big progress day, so I end my modified, 6-day end-of-August challenge {4 for 6}.
about all I did useful today was get a haircut, and work out the details/populate my new Gmail-based
gtd system. But I have been setting my 4 goals for the September challenge, which starts in 3 hrs:

1. Paperwork: Purge filing system, get filing up to date, finish setup of Autopay+Autoreminder billpay system.
2. Life simplification: Purge final ~20% of un-needed belongings by donating, selling, tossing; get to the bedrock.
3. Business: Add a client to my business through daily marketing activities.
4. Fitness: Stay on running program, add a little weight lifting, and create an online shopping/meal-planning system
using Google sheets or Sheetster.

See you in September!
