Wow! How did I get to be the first one?
Sleep 8: yes.
Work at 8: definitely not - 9:37. Won't go into the extenuating circumstances.

Got up 15 min late (5:15). I chopped a few minutes off my MIT time and my emailing time. I got a very nice MIT done this morning--something that I've procrastinated on for months. I seem to have the energy to do things that I'm not totally thrilled about doing when I tackle them before I've totally woken up. LOL

I come into today with {15 of 16 for September}.
#1 Fitness: Hip Opening Series 1. I want to work through to the healthy back routines. I will drop out Yoga Zone beginner practice 2 in favor of adding in a second Yoga for Inflexible People practice in my 3-yoga cycle done over alternating days.
#2 Get out: It is overcast and wet. If it dries this afternoon, I will do 45 minutes more weeding and edging of the North parking strip. It may rain the next two days, so I want to get more of this in if possible before I need to switch to reseeding the lawn near the end of September. If it is too wet, I will add some household clean-up, including removing old small appliances, junk in the garage, etc., so I can take it to the disposal center.
#3 Organize: I will keep my marked-for-followup feed article backlog at 0 and invest 60 minutes in monthly bills and working on eliminating the pile of papers on the corner of my desk. There are other piles to get to after that, so time's awasting.

#1, #2, and #3 are complete. #1 was interesting. On my second run of that practice, I noticed a lot more and was able to get the poses correctly. That helped me learn a number of new areas where I am inflexible and I like the gentleness of this routine even though it is not at all easy. I will keep this one in for a time. On #2 I did the household cleanup and my wife will be surprised when she returns from exhibiting at the fair on Wednesday evening. For #3 my backlog is at 18 right now and I will take it down the rest of the way with extra time this evening.
I am now at {16 of 17 for September}.

A good day of progress today; booked >8 hrs concentrated work
on my project. I finished setting up a new glass desk (replacing two
older ones I sold; I need "less desk" now), and now have a tighter
workspace setup with all the work tools at the ready; lean gtd filing system, a
new Levenger inbox, etc. Also made headway in setting up my new
simple 'autopilot' monthly bill-paying & account management system
in Outlook/iPhone & via online banking. I started to slack out mid-day,
but took a break and reminded myself that I'm going to finish this project
COMPLETELY this month. Back to work!
I'm {13:17} going into Tuesday Sept. 18. Have a client meeting tomorrow,
so it'll be a lighter day. But my plan is to "burn the house down" with progress
on Wednesday. Hopefully, ;)
