I come into this day with {17 of 18 in September}.

Promises:

#1 Fitness: Yoga Zone beginner practice 1

#2 Get out: Go to NW C++ group meeting in Redmond tonight, 45 minutes yard work if it is not wet

#3 Organize: Keep blog feed backlog at 0 and post a plan for my ODMJNI project's next stage (0.59 beta).

Sleep 8: nope.
Work at 8: nope -- got in at 9:10.

Even though I'm a pathetic loser and can't seem to get back into the groove of these goals, I'm going to keep on posting so these stay on my radar. I have chaos at home (I'm fostering a cat: keeping it and my cat separated until they get used to each other; I'm sleeping in the living room so my cat won't feel abandoned; and spending lots of quality time with each cat)--that's my excuse. But, I should be able to get it together, since millions and billions of people the world over get to work by their designated hour with far more going on than my trivial chaos.

ZTD habit 2: Success. I went to bed with some stuff in my inbox, but it was mostly stuff I was just going to grab the next morning, so I'll let it slide.

Put in contact lenses every day: Didn't manage to get them in today. I tried it twice but for whatever reason, it didn't work. Next day, next try.

Trying to walk at least a little bit each night. Got back into this last night, will probably try to find a park to go to tonight.

#1 is complete. I also noticed that I am still getting deeper into these poses. Noticing more progress is always rewarding!

#2 is revised. With the travel to Redmond and the meeting, I will not be doing yard work at all. Need room for other commitments.

#3 looking good so far. I had 199 new articles that I pruned to 17 to review with more attention. Looking good for another 0 day.

3 days sick in bed severely dented my excercise regime. Started back today, 20 minutes of stretching after swimming for an hour. No dance practice yet, but I have a class tonight so I expect I'll get in 3 hours.

Logged my best day this month working on the project - 12 solid, concentrated
hours. I knocked out the two closet/storage areas and the office setup.
But there is still a lot of work left; now I'm looking to finish by Sunday.
Going into Thursday Sept 20 I'm {15:19}.

Found the park with a jogging trail - walked 1 mile. Will probably try to increase this to 1.5 or 2 miles.

Almost forgot to post. Hmm. I wonder if it is because I didn't do so well.

Not so bad, but I slept in nearly a half hour. The day before I also overslept. Today I simply cut out the time from MIT. I did do one small task, but I wanted to be sure to do the exercise and prayer/meditation time. So that's that.

Well, I messed that up pretty good. I had reduced my feed-article backlog to 11 when I figured out the travel time I needed to put in for my evening meeting. I had to run out of the house at 4pm and didn't return until 11pm. Great meeting though.

So #2 is complete.

#3 was dropped on the floor and I didn't even get back to my computer to report until now.

So I did not fulfill the promise for this day and I am at {17 of 19 for September}.
