Daily check-in thread for September 25, 2007

I've done most of the routine this morning and am on my way to finishing it. I need to report early, because I'm going to be doing a little retreat day and overnight followed tomorrow by a visit with friends. I plan to do my routine basically tomorrow morning, though without the computer stuff. I plan to post my progress on Thursday.

my reading is done for the day

I logged only about an hour on my project today, well short of my
3 hour goal. But there are enough days left in the month for me
to still meet my overall goal of finishing the project this month.
Going into Wed Sept 26 I'm {19:25}.

I am wondering if it would be a good idea to see if we can get
"The October Challenge" forum created, so that we can
make posts there to set & discuss our pending Oct challenges.
I'm not sure how to contact Leo, or if he sees these daily
post threads. Anyway, the "starter's gun" for the October
challenge is only 5 days away!

I come into this day at {20 of 24 for September}.

Promises:

#1 Fitness: The usual rowing-machine workout with 8 leg lifts afterwards.

#2 Get out: Go to Kirkland for a geek dinner with writer Ed Bott.

#3 Productivity: More on ODMJNI 0.59beta. Reduce the incoming feeds but don't work on the backlog.

I completed #1-#3 although I left before I had even scanned completely through the feeds. This left me with some 300 or so to scan through on September 26.
