@buzkie: My suggestions, based on my experience at Zen Habits:
1. Write at the same time every day. Instead of writing whenever you have time, dedicate a certain time for writing.
2. Make a list of post ideas, so you're never dry. Use inspiration from other blogs, magazines, books, people you talk to, and especially things you're doing in your everyday life.
3. Start with the headline, to keep yourself focused on one idea, so that you don't ramble ... keep the post concise and focused.
