2 for 3, I woke up at 7 but didn't get out of bed until shortly after 8. I meant to get up early to get some help with my physics, but couldn't get myself there, obviously. Quite disappointed...

The power went out last night and reset my alarm clock, but somehow I still woke up at seven sharp. Got up, prayed, and heated up leftover waffles in the toaster! Yaay!

It gets easier! Without the thinking process...
I am proud that I did it this morning even I was running late.

Did great again when I came home with bags of grocery items... Pat on my shoulder

I'm going to check in 2x per day to bookend my day's activities. Since my goal is to implement and use GTD, I should have a number of completed next actions by the end of the day.

Currently, my 5 next actions for work are

set up and test instances for implemented fixes
install and test DAR client against the DAR importer
implement case speedup
test case speedup against a large data set
dry run of WUStL migration

my next 5 home/personal actions are

return library books/cds that are due today
read 25 pp
take flaxseed oil
read through insurance
practice guitar for 1/2 hr

Quite possible my next actions could shift in priority , but ideally I'll stay focused and work through most of these.

Put in contact lenses every day: put them in some minutes ago. Today, it was really flawless. 4-for-4.

This afternoon's been a little harder than the first two days of my Challenge (some deadline stress), but I'm hanging in, eating other snacks instead of the chocolate bar I really wanted. I'm also leaving early for a Dr. appointment, so that will help a lot. Checking in here really really helps--it amazes me how powerful it is.

Yesterday, like with day one, after not having sugar all day at work, I had no compulsion for it the rest of the day either.

Well...I sort of half did it! haha, I got up at 6:45 when my alarm went off...but I didn't feel well so I went back to bet at 7:15 and slept for half an hour before actually getting up....lol. Do I at least get half credit?

Half a success for me today....I was up too late so I didn't even bother setting the alarm and missed my 6:30 wakeup time but I did manage to get through my whole morning routine anyway. I'll keep at it.

3 for 3 and going well here in day 4. I will admit that it has been tougher today, but no lapses yet. I feel confident that I can break this habit, it just takes more concentration at times than I expected. I will beat this.

My goal is to follow my new 2000 cal meal plan, and continue the habit of daily exercise.

I did great yesterday, until dinner, when I ate at my mom's house for my niece's birthday. I overdid it a little. Not as bad as in the past, though, so I'm making progress.

Still, I'm calling the day a success. Also did exercise in the morning.

So, 4-for-4!

Yesterday I didn't hit the snooze button, but stayed in bed for 30 minutes listening to the clock radio. Kinda pointless.

Last night I moved the clock radio to the other side of the room, changed it from radio to alarm mode, and am happy to say that I got up!

I posted a couple more ads, for some books and some games.

I also concluded one transaction earlier today, and have some emails from other interested parties. It'll be interesting to see what happens once I start posting ads for some of my bigger pieces. Still, baby steps seem to be working so far...

[color=darkblue:baee6a1cc4]Yoga and SHower by 7:30 am[/color:baee6a1cc4]

2nd day - Had other stressors that kept me up till 4 am. did not wake up until 7 am. no yoga or shower in the morning.

DId manage a shower later in the day. But Yoga was skipped today.

Missing a day is no reason to give up the goal.

Wishing myself a better day tomorrow.

My goal is to clean up after myself, keeping my home presentable and resulting in more time for the fun stuff in life.

First day, and I think I did pretty well, especially considering I felt awful today and spent a lot of time sleeping. I am going to bed tonight with a clean kitchen, a clean bathroom, and a clear computer desk. 1/1 Yay me! The weekend will be a true test, I usually throw stuff everywhere.

Finger's still injured so I haven't had the chance to exercise yet.
