I have neglected posting, but have been getting up generally around 4:50 and doing the extra exercise. Going good on this one. I'm glad, because my previous time to get up was 5:00 and I was generally making it out of bed around 5:15-5:30. I'm enjoying the morning routine.

not so much today. round of fire drills that looking back now, i should have figured out some way to delegate but it seemed so important to sort out myself...so it threw me off a lot and i didn't have much time at all to work on my own stuff. was there til 8:30...some days are good some not so good. tomorrow is a new day, i'll focus on my objectives, delegating and having a good attitude!

Success/success!

Take vitamins every morning before breakfast or lunch: Done.
Write 2000 words a day for NaNoWriMo: Done, and still ahead (the total is 28,650). I wrote one tiny sex scene, and then another rather disturbing one involving knives. This book, which focuses on a prostitute and a lush, is getting steamier than I like.

I just noticed that my outline is 29,000 words. Ha, so I am way ahead!

If you want, you can read about my motivation for the challenge.

Cut down on alcohol (drink if at all on special occasions): Done.
Cut down on sweets (cheat day is Saturday): Failed - there is still a lot of birthday cake left, somebody has to take care of it from time to time. ;)

I completed 2 of 3 MITs again and moved one of my 3 projects ahead significantly. The MIT that got neglected was my academic writing, which I find very difficult to break down into smaller tasks, and it is a neverending fount of procrastination anxiety. Can anyone offer any insight on this?

Thanks again!
