Does anybody have tips how to make pregnancy go smoother? Any simple way to get rid of nausea, get more time to sleep or prepare for a baby? How to hide pregnancy from nosy relatives and co-workers?

as a father I can tell you what I wish someone would have told me this
my wife and I got all worried and read every book and bought every stupid thing on the market
but I wish we would have spent less time worrying and more time enjoying the process
having a new born is not as terrible as all the old people will try to tell you and wind you up and give you advise
I did take time to read to her belly 2 times a day (a children's book) the baby needs to hear your voice
as for the nausea and nosy family not much help with that we dealt with both (well my wife with the nausea)
diaper genies are essential we had one on first and 2nd floor
you will miss a lot of sleep for a while of course but you go into like a zombie like zone and your body adjusts quickly I found I got used to it

Make sure you have protein in the morning. Keep your iron level up. Don't eat what your body gags at, even if it is health bread.
Rest when you are tired.
As for keeping it a secret, I would just wear looser clothing. But i was always so proud to be carrying I never tried to hide it, so not sure what else you could really do.

I found that I worried a lot too but then I realised that for both pregnancy and parenting
- if things are not going smoothly - you still have stay calm and roll with the punches, go with the flow
- when you are stressed out with lots of options, choices and everyone has different advice - trust your instincts
Keeping a level head and calm soul makes every problem a lot less threatening and gives you the right mental framework for making sometimes tough decisions. In addition, you exude calm and it's contagious especially to the baby.
You must have a lot of faith in your own ability to judge a situation with all its complex nuances and match that against what you know of the intricate details of own body and baby - trust me your instincts are usually sound
Good luck!
