Hi all.

I'm a new dad and looking to supplement my minimal set of google reader feeds (to keep my life simple!) with some daily parenting reading. ZenHabits is great (as is Lifehacker), but i'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for something more specialized. I.e., with posts on new babies, raising kids, wise tips, new products and ideas, diet, discipline, fun and games, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Not that I'd know anything about the subject, but a Google search yielded such promising results as Parenting.com, iVillage Parenting, FamilyResource, and FamilyEducation.com. The latter's 'Daily Activities' feeds look interesting. Good luck with the search for knowledge!

I'm not sure if they have a feed...can't remember...but I really like Focus on the Family. I know more but I can't think of them at the moment. I'm running out the door so I'll get back to you.

You could have a look at http://www.familyhack.com. A good diverse range of family related topics, I think.

My daughter's now six, but it seems like yesterday I was a new dad. Enjoy!

If you could use a bit of kiddie inspired home-grown humor and a few household tricks, be sure to check out "my family funnies" category of http://myfamilyscene.blogspot.com

Good luck-:)
