Internet was down at home again yesterday so no reportback.
I did sit down for my planning session Saturday and Yesterday (settling for phone lists again). Work tasks remain the same (just about to strike one off though), three new email tasks.

Doing well on capturing everything on my lists. Doing well keeping e-mail cleaned up. Now I just need to stay motivated to DO some of the things on my list. With everybody else home from school and work but me, that's going to be hard today.

Meditated Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, despite schedule snafus (which are often a stumbling block). Wahoo! 17/21.

On another note: I'm beginning to "get" what my teacher says about "just showing up" (i.e., for meditating). Doing just five minutes - and not trying to strive for longer times while also trying to establish habit - has been very instructive. Fewer points of failure, and more time to see how much I am challenged in establishing this simple habit. My mind is becoming less growly and grouchy about doing the sit, and furthermore I'm not letting myself be as prone to accomodating the grumpy-growlies. :-D

This awareness will help in future goal setting.

I read my Bible in the morning and prayed with my wife at night. It feels good to be back on track.

A bad injury sidelined me for a few months, but am back and with the challenge. My goal: 30 minutes of exercise every day.
todays' result: 50 minutes of Dance Dance Revolution (it's -1 degree in Boulder today, and snowing.) For the past week: have achieved this goal.

mhm, I didn't get up as early as I wanted. But at least before 10. I think even before nine. It's hard for me finding a time that suits me right.
The rest of my housemates starts the day depending on if they have class. meaning someday at 9am someday they don't get up before 2pm.
I don't have any classes. And, 8 seems to be good, but - anyway.

I was busy all day. Which is good. The research kicks me but I have to take care not to loose myself in it. I have to start writing the thesis and work on the imagery for the animation. Also organize things for the final installation.

but everything will be good. Yeah!

I was out of town for a couple of days, but kept to my goal. No McD's for me!
I am starting to feel like I have this one under control. I guess I mean I have established the new habit. I am planning out my new goal for Februay, to eat dinner at home Sunday- Thursday. Both of these tie into my goals for the year: stop spending so much $$ eating out and to eat more healthily.

Keep up the good work everyone!

I had the pleasure of jogging in daylight with my ipod today, due to the holiday. It's supposed to be record breaking cold here in Portland, OR tonight. Jogging tomorrow could be torturous. We'll see.

A late night processing of the inbox to zero. It's a holiday, and I've been having trouble winding down from work so I'm not complaining. I still haven't had time to do a proper review - eek!

Not a lot of effort toward either goal. Nearly forgot to check in. Am dreadfully tired. Will try to get a good night's sleep and try again tomorrow.

Felt all happy that I had spent only $2.24 on the office water cooler collection today until I actually looked at my little notebook and realized that I'd also laid out a $500.00 deductible to get my front bumper repaired after a minor accident. How could I have forgotten about $500? I guess that's why you have to write this stuff down daily, ideally as it happens.

Since this does seem to be getting to be a habit, I'm trying to think what next week's habit will be -- maybe doing yoga every day? Right now I'm lucky to get in 2-3 days a week. Or maybe studying Spanish, which I barely do at all. Hmm. I really don't feel like I have time for all of the virtuous things I should be doing.
