My workouts this week have been obstructed by all sorts of obstacles. Today evening I had a seminar to attend and a class after that which goes well beyond the gym opening hours. So, I planned ahead, went to the gym in the noon, showered after that and attended the seminar. It's good to be able to do something no matter what comes in the way. :)
For those who're starting off the day and thinking about your goals ... get off your seat and go do it! Think later :D

Agreed ashwin, Just do it! *hides from Nike's lawyer army*
I got a really good session in yesterday, hammered through my paper inbox and did a bit of filing. My list for today was quite substantial, but many items are already struck off it :)

Meditated last night. 19/23
Encountered the same challenge - feeling too tired, etc. - but let the feelings be, and within an hour found the time and inclination to get the sit done. If I don't constantly beat my head against whatever obstructionist feelings there may be, these feelings pass fairly quickly.

Didn't post yesterday due to computer dramas. Presently writing this while listening to the peaceful hum of a hard disk formatting. That stuffed up my planned tasks nicely.
It's dawned on me that maybe MITs aren't quite the goal I was looking for - or perhaps I just need to be a bit more specific about what constitutes a MIT. What I need to get done every day are three important but non-urgent tasks (I can never remember which quadrant that is). There are always a lot of fires to put out, and some of them are very important - client service knock-on effects, etc. But I must make sure I make a few steps towards long-term goals every day.
Anyway, 2 quadrant N tasks finished today, and a start made on the third.

Hey. Although I haven't been posting every day I have been writing in my journal almost everyday - which is the habit I am cultivating.
Rock On.

I had the urge, so I gave into my 'one free drink a week' and drank about a 1/4th of a cup of orange soda. Man it was good!
But since its a freebie - I'm still good to go for today :D

I got up at 8pm. Yeah! Have to admit I had an appointment, which made it easy. But still.
I've been busy all day and have to go on for the next months, otherwise I won't make it.
I still did not start with the thesis for real. But organized things about it.
Next days will be kind of important, as I want to really get into a daily rhythm.
Doing writing in the mornings and till midday, then have the rest for doing graphics and animations.
Woah, and I did a bit of yoga in the afternoon when I was feeling most exhausted and tired. It was good.
It was a fairly good day in general.
And there are much more to come.

Neither done today. I did take a few pictures but they were all experiments-- snapshots. Nothing serious. And no book work. I'm discouraged. Maybe I need to play with the camera for a while and leave the book alone. I feel bogged down and redundant. Sigh.
