Happy International Singles Awareness Day, all.

Slept through the alarm again, so only had time for about 100 words. That's what I get for sitting up late last night with a good novel.

Did well yesterday again: made the beds, emptied my inbox and prepared clothes for today (no bag needed today).

Better day yesterday. Spent time this morning journaling over some folks that I have unresolved feelings toward that was creeping around my mind. More at peace this morning. Also found some meditation CDs that I was looking everywhere for. 8)

Got my writing done. Now I have to get some MITs done: laundry, house cleaning, groceries. Yuck. But then I can go to a movie!

I am struggling this week. Haven't met my goal since Monday and lots of stress around me. But I'm not giving up. There's lots of week left today and tomorrow.

"Ayup - unix sysadmin here. I also used to work for a public school district. If an iPhone is too spendy, you might try to get a used Blackberry - it has nice password storage tools, notes, and the like. If you use a Mac, you might be able to sync it using Missing Sync, but otherwise, the Blackberry has a decent sync tool for Windows."--dasparky

Thanks, for the info, but I am now thinking my problem is not the vehicle, but the timing. So, now I am not sure if an iPhone or any other technological toy will help (though I am going to look into a used Blackberry). I think I need to work on taking the time to write things down in a timely matter (like right when the thoughts or information arrive). I tend to think I can hold them onto my head until I decide to sit down. Plus, even when I write things down, I forget to look at my notes before I leave for work or for home and then do not get my stuff done (like errands).

Okay, my solution is to try to write things down immediately and come up with specific times (at home & work) to open my notebook and check my notes. Maybe, that will work.

not had a chance to get close to a computer before 12:30
no problems keeping this going since work is so demanding.

2 day? 4 days?

I was robbed on Monday night - they broke into my housemate's car while we were walking on the beach, and as she had picked me up from work I was carrying a lot of valuables with me - about $AU1400 of my own personal items, including the Medicare rebate I had just received for the $2500 surgery I had to have last year. They took my wallet, my keys for my house, car and work, my new DS Lite I had only bought a week ago to replace the DS that had an accident involving some liquid, the only two games I owned for it, my 160gb external hard drive where I keep all my coding projects and story ideas...

The fact that they had my address and house keys meant a sleepless night that night. I did not get up at 5:30am. In fact, for the last three days, I think, I have not owned an alarm clocks (I always used my DS or mobile) and I have not managed to awake by 5:30am - my housemate has been waking me at 6:30 when he gets up.

We changed the locks the next day, so that helped me sleep somewhat, but the last few days have been spent trying to bounce back from this robbery, sorting out cards... have left my car at my parent's house so they can't come and steal it, what with having my keys and address. I can't afford to change the locks right now (my housemates paid to change the house locks and I will pay them back next pay cheque).

And along with everything else, we haven't had the internet for three days, so I couldn't make reports here!

This has all sucked... a lot... and stuffed up my goal. I'll try to get back to it (I'm going to start a new mobile phone plan on Saturday and get a new phone, so I'll therefore have an alarm clock again) but this really sucks!

Did not get up at 5:30 today, therefore. Or the days before *adds empty days to tracker :-(*

Okay, met my writing/revising goal before noon (just barely), but later I did start some very tedious work of compiling a table for this chapter, and also made a rough outline for the chapter in the hope that that will make further progress easier.

Happy Valentine's Day, all, and best wishes for a productive Friday tomorrow.
