I wrote 2 articles this morning, about 2500 words total. Still playing catchup. I'm now at 9/14...running 5 articles behind but I do have the outlines pretty much set for those 5.

Well done Flintza and Anseris btw!

Woke up at 5:30 a.m. It was pretty hard today. I am glad that I stayed awake.

Well done everyone!

Meditated last night, even though by the time I remembered, it was waaay past bed-time and I was exhausted. In the past, I would've said "screw it" and gone to bed. This system has really helped me work through some mental hurdles, and made meditating truly a habit. Sweet!

Had already made exercise goal, but did wall push ups and squats while waiting for lunch to cook yesterday. Will do a round of squats, push ups and the like today, too.

Ugh.. So last night I was too lazy to go find my cell phone and set the loud alarm... I'd been doing well the past two days so I only set the regular alarm. I even woke up around 5:30 (an hour earlier than my alarm was set), saw the time and thought: "sweet! I'm already awake, getting up later won't be a problem!"

Well, I just didn't hear it go off. Lesson learned: never underestimate how deeply I sleep!! (I could sleep through a tornado :P )

Blew it again yesterday--switched to water after two glasses of wine at the party, but then the host mixed a special cocktail and I had to try it (it was awful, too). Ate too many chips and too much guacamole, too.
This is much the hardest challenge I've done to date, despite the fact that the level I'm trying to cut back to is still about twice what I have any business drinking. I guess it's good that having the goal makes me more aware.

So far, so good. These past few days I've been doing well.

This challenge is definitely good for me. Gets me motivated to get started even when I'm writing the hard stuff, like now. This morning, began at 8:30 and did four hours of writing/revising before lunch. I'm going to see if a lunchtime walk will inspire me to further productivity.

A round of applause for all of us as we complete the second week of our February challenges!

AUGH, I couldn't load the forum for DAYS for some strange reason. My ISP's DNS is going nutso again, I think.

Each morning, write down five half-hour tasks I want to do before the day is over: I've decided to change my goal. Now that I'm checking out and definitely liking the Emergent Task Planner, I'm making my goal to fill in at least six tasks I want to do during the day. I accomplished that several times during my absence, bringing my results up to 13/15 or so.

work not going so well today, though, i've been pushing myself too hard, so mistakes creeping in and everything taking even longer which is not good!

After finally starting and meeting my "obligation" two days in a row, I missed a day (yesterday). This morning, however, I got back on it and broke in my new "fit deck". Yay! Hours later, I still feel "pumped" from doing some simple at-home exercises!

My posting will be intermittent this week as I will be away from my computer.

I'll keep a log and post upon my return-- a compromise of sorts.

No writing or photography today. Long drive to the Coast.

Great day yesterday. Got out some more junk through journalling and had a very "in the moment" day, especially during lunch with friends. Big step forward.

Did my exercises at work again today. I have the exercise band in a prominent place and it is red so I am trying to use it as a visual cue. But in spite of it all, isn't it amazing how we fail to see things after a while?
Happy Friday!
