Good morning all!
Dropped the ball this morning. Slept through the alarm and only managed 100 words before I had to leave for work. That late night catching up, perhaps. Oh well - bad days happen. Tomorrow can only improve.
Wishing everyone a refreshing weekend!

Made it last night--the fact that there was a huge line at the beer counter in the pub and the stuff I was drinking was $4.75 a pint helped.
I feel like this goal is not going well, but when I look back over the month, I'm at about six failures in 21 days--not good, but not a complete disaster, either. Debating whether to keep this goal next month, go for a further cutback, or do the entering expenditures into Quicken on the day they are made one.

I work at an elementary school, so when I heard about the snow coming for today...I kinda slacked off on my normal nightly goals because I knew I would be home today. I need to work on making it a daily habit - not just a schoolnight habit.

Whew, it's been a long time since I checked in. That's largely because I've been so successful at my goal -- I've been going out like a madwoman. I've actually come up with some good networking opportunities, joined two clubs, attended church more regularly, and all-around am getting to be more social. The only downside is my 6:00 a.m. start time at work. It's hard to go out every night when you really ought to be firmly curled under the covers by 8:00 p.m. And I feel like I'm way behind on basic things like dishes and laundry. Even so, it's fun, and I feel like I'm really stretching myself.
Love to all,

Another good workout at the gym. Friend who was accompanying me has given up now. So, it's a little harder for me to find the inspiration to go on.

Ok - I am doing pretty good. I started on Feb 4 (when I read about the challenge) and have been doing it every day since. I am starting a yoga class on Monday and I think that will help with body awareness and posture.

Was away yesterday, and so took the day off from writing. Instead, I did extra writing the day before.

Done.
I've been able to keep up my goal every day for a long time (it may have been since I started this Challenge, but who's counting.) It's been really, really simple because, although the ultimate goal is to lose weight using this tool, for this month, I'm just getting back into the full habit of tracking calories, because previously I had slipping into starting the day right and then it would go to hell as I realized sometime around mid afternoon or later that I was eating too many calories and I didn't want to be accountable in any way by writing it down. So, now I'm accepting that on some days I'm eating too many calories and tracking them anyway. Also, I'm estimating where needed, like when eating out. But, just by dint of tracking calories, I am getting a grip on my calories too.

I have a couple girls who want to hang out with me soon. I'll count these as small improvements. Tonight I am seeing my ex again. It does sound like we see each other from time to time. She's my friend. And if anything happens so what.

Well, I was gone for a week-- on the coast on a rather stressful trip. But I did get to write one day, and photograph one other day... and every day I did my "Intelligent Warrior" exercises with regard to the four-question intention statement. I was unable to view the I.W. videos beginning on Day 22 of having started, so I suppose I have to start all over again. Bummer.
