A very nice practice of standing poses.

Have a reflective Palm Sunday, all,

I started with GTD late last Summer and went nuts on it for about three months, then mostly dropped off. Time to get back on the chariot!

Since I've already got one or two fumbly habits still stumbling along, I'm going to do the ZTD minimum package plan until April 16 and then forge on with the next habit.

Will update here daily to help keep me in the game and I promise to try not to bore you all with my lumpy progress.

Today's MITs: 3/3 Checked Off.

OK!

Today I did my back exercises and found a more effective / comfortable to do my new second set of exercise.

I did not eat anything after 8:30 pm.

I didn't get a disposable coffee cup BUT I did use a disposable water cup today. ARG! I realized what I was doing as I got the water but I hadn't brought a water bottle for myself or my kids and so we ended up all told using 5 cups! Granted they were paper but honestly, it bums me out. As I write this I realize I could have just asked the people at the counter for some permanent cups and I will do that next time we forget our water bottles. It is depressing though because I feel like I just can't get away from disposable cups!

I'm really bad at weekends... I had a super busy weekend with dance workshops all day, and then dance nights on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which required some costume, so I spent the entire time between the end of the workshops and the beginning of the dance getting ready, and barely had time to eat. So there was no time to do a before bed routine... nor when I got home at 3 am, as I was getting up again around 8 the next morning...

I'm not trying to make excuses, I wish I had managed to keep up the habit, because we were housing people through the weekend, and now the house is trashed. I'm just trying to figure out how it would've been possible to actually do the simple habit I'm trying to implement... I'm not too worried about picking my clothes out for the next morning on weekends, but I really want to be able to clear out my sink every night!

I guess the Zen answer would be to simplify... but these were things I wanted to do, which made me happy, and helped me improve one of my goals, to become a better dancer... which is a more important goal to me than keeping my house clean (although that second one is the one that needs work).

Anyway, sorry I'm ranting, I just felt like I needed to tell someone! :)
At least, last night, I didn't clear out the sink because there was too much to do and I got home at 2 am, but I did pick out my clothes and spend a couple minutes picking some stuff up. Tonight after work will be cleaning time!
