I come into this day with {10 of 11 for April}.
Promise: 1 hour on accounts and finances each day
OK, I am resisting the switchover to all of the tax-record and -reconciliation part of the work. (I am doing a big audit of finances and spending.)
OK, 1 hour is just a small step and steady progress each day. Time to bear down and keep making habits.

As I write this, a huge dish of baked ziti is cooking away, making the house smell luscious. This batch represents my lunches for the week. Now I just need to get some snacks from Trader Joe's, and I'll be all set. I was really afraid I was going to crap out on this week, and possibly on the rest of the month. Yay for me!
Yay for y'all, too,

I didn't make it walking yesterday. No excuse.
I did however hear me tell myself to go walking
earlier than I intended and didn't follow through.
I will listen to that voice moving forward.
It's a good sign that I want this habit to stick and
that my body is desiring the activity...

Acceptance and gratitude continue.

I did a pretty good job of this yesterday. I made a poster
and put in on my door so I'll have it with me every time I
leave. At the grocery store I made the most of when people
came up to me and talked for a bit. An old man, 88 years of age,
asked me to guess his age. We also talked about bananas. I did
a lot of sitting I remember. I had a hard time wanting to get to work.
I was trying too late. I really've got to push myself more. Have that persistence.
Very important and healthy.

Nice Saturday morning, didn't have to get up early, but didn't lie in bed too long, that allowed me to lounge around, have a nice cup of coffee, etc... All in all a great day.
9/12 I went out dancing in the evening, in a new city. Glad I went, it was a lot of fun!!
