As I figured, this did not happen. Should be able to do it today. Looks like I have someone coming over to pick up some books I put on Craigslist, so that'll help. Hopefully I'll unload the exercise machine tomorrow, although that's bedroom clutter rather than study clutter.

5/14 9:00... slight improvement on the rest of the week, but still not good. I actually think I've found the way to go, I almost did it, got out of bed on time... but then laid back down on the couch for a few minutes and fell back asleep.

I have no dance or workout plans tonight, I'll be busy trying to get ready for my road trip this weekend, but I'll try and squeeze in an hour of solo dancing at home. Can't let this goal drop as well...

Following the idea I mentioned yesterday, I managed to get up a few minutes earlier. That's why I had time to actually do exercises. I will probably repeat what you've been reading around the web, but here it goes once again: if you have problems with morning habits (well any habits), think about it in a positive way before going to the bed. It works.

The computer-free hour went smoothly. During the hour I watched TV, but as the computer-free hour seems to be no problem to me (I'm shocked myself) I will try not to waste that time and spend it better starting tomorrow.

Over an hour of work on translating 'Dream of the Rood' and I read an Article.
And no sugar.

I'm still eating quite a lot of white bread instead, but I'll work on it. It'll be harder tomorrow as I'm going out for a meal with my girlfriend then having her stay over. I can do it though :)

I let my worries and anxieties get the best of me last night. I hit a road block
where all I could think of was my lack of social life. Inevitability, this is ultimately
my responsibilities. I sunk myself into a hole where my mind was spinning and I got
more and more upset. I have friends, I just have to make effort in hanging out.
I've been told I'm hard on myself. I need to focus on being content and making an effort
to hang out. Baby steps, my friend.
