Last night around 10:30am it was very dark and the stars were shining so clear and brightly above me. The lightning bugs of the early summer were flickering green all about and i thought to my self "the world & Universe is full of wonder & beauty and on this earth we live on its so fast and harsh we get caught up in all of...everything and we NEED we really need to slow down and find Inner peace and just take some time out of our lives and sit on the porch and look up into the stars and just relax and think, just unravel take time out for our selfs ya know" in sum up it was really spiritual and a tad life changing what i took from that was that we all have to thank where we are at in life and take it all in and be thankful of what we have. Thanks for reading, Peace

Oh, I hear you, brother. That's the stuff I've been reading about in Brother Lawrence and Joyce Meyer: Live in the now, realize that God is in the small things. Most of the time, I'm just too much of an idiot to notice. I'm glad you found a moment of it.

agreed.
Funny thing is a perspective shift can be beneficial in many different enviorments. Why just take the time to look up at the night sky to see the stars? Try walking your usual route to work or whatever and instead of looking at eye level take the time to look up and admire the architecture that you may have walked past a thousand times but have never ever seen. We are often fooled into thinking that life is what goes on in our normal field of vision but if we take the time to remember to look up, down and sideways we may be pleasantly surprised by what we see.

I've always enjoyed taking a little bit of time (usually at night) and just reflecting on the day and my current events in general. It's a great way to be in the moment and be grateful for everything we have.
Being grateful is arguably the most important thing we can do. We could have all of the riches in the world, but if we don't mentally recognize them, then they're practically invisible to us.
