I want to start a blog

I started one at blogspot, it was very easy.

I recommend wordpress.com, vox.com, livejournal.com, and blogger.com.

Wordpress is always my favorite, because you can fully customize things for yourself.

All of the previous suggestions are valid, but also try writing a blog on a site that pays you. In effect, it is someone else's blog and they have advertising, so they more or less make money off what you write for them. The one I use is today.com. They pay $5 per post for the first month (limit one post per day) and then evaluate your blog and may adjust the pay rate. The today.com site is hosted on wordpress.com, so if you become familiar with their format you are going to like today.com. My site is http://gruggersway.today.com
