I've caught onto the 100 things challenge as a goal for simplifying my life through reducing the things that weight me down. If you haven't heard about this (I'm sure you have), check out the following :

I've started a list at kalisty.com of the 100 things I can't live without. Well, it's a short list right now, and I'm certain I'll get to well over 100 things. I can then prioritize and remove. The hard part would be to get rid of anything I own not on the list.

Check out my list at the link below:

Thanks for posting the link, saves me some time in having to go look for it. :D

My grandmother mentioned the challenge to me, and I've heard of it before but I've never thought that it could actually help me out. I'm going to try and see if I can do the challenge for my college life, then see if I can extend it to all the other crap that I have. Maybe then I won't have to stuff my stuff into the car when its time to go back. I don't think I'll be able to go down to 100, but maybe I'll write down all that I have and see if I can't cut it in half.

I wish you luck in doing the challenge :)

I'm in the process of doing something similar. Selling or giving away old books, video games, etc. Maybe eventually I'll document them and see how many actual items I have.
