Wishing good luck to all the folks starting on new goals in July! :)

Couldn't run in the morning today, but worked out at the gym in the evening.

Actually, I feel very lazy, honestly a bad day since I didnot complete my MIT's properly. I completed only two sudokus and bunked the yoga class. I did take my multivitamin pill and read zenhabits site. I need to shake off my lethargy and look forward for tomorrow with enthusiam. I wasted my day.

Had a terribly rough night last night.
Could not wake up this morning by 5:45 (1/2)
Did not go jogging (1/2)
Will do push-ups after my nap (1/1)
Tomorrow is another day, and hopefully started off with a better night's rest.

Welcome to day 2

Challenge:
I will do something everyday in the process of selecting the best on line masters program for me.

What I did today:

Spoke to an alumnae of one of the programs that I am interested in. Asked alot of questions and was able to get some valuable real world info about the program.

Wrote the notes down from our phone conversation in my journal. Also reviewed a newsletter from the school on the residency portion of the program.

He left me with a quote, "Do it for the significance, not for the benefits."

Made me think a bit.

Journal Writing (2/2)

This is pretty easy right now....next week traveling for work should make it more interesting.....

Meditate Daily:

Morning - spent around 10 minutes in meditation

Afternoon - After I got home from work, I was tempted to take care
of things and pack before I leave tomorrow - but instead, first thing
I did was meditate for 20 minutes - it felt rejuvenating and it really
helps to slow down and feel overall better.

Work out: went to the gym for yoga class
2/2

Unfortunately, yoga knocked me out and I didn't get any work done in the evening, and neither did I read before going to bed.

I completed all my MIT's today. In fact finished sudokus very well after a long time and felt good. I also cleaned a rack, read zenhabits site. Its 25Th day and I hope I sustain it till the end of this month.

Would rather use this forum for developing an ongoing habit rather than a one-time goal, though I do need to continue to work on that. So I think I'm going to go with entering all expenditures into Quicken within 48 hours (and writing down all cash expenditures at time of purchase, which is a necessary prerequisite). I haven't spent any money today, but the clock is ticking on the new supply of contact lenses, groceries, and new cover for my Sunfish I bought yesterday. I don't think I bought anything Tuesday.

Made up a pasta salad before leaving the house - tomato, onion, chickpeas, olives, herbs. It could have used some greenery but there was nothing suitable in the kitchen. There's quite a good market behind the office here, but for some reason the vendors never have leafy greens other than cabbage.
